In the eyes of the DAAD, the end of a funding period marks the beginning of a long-standing relationship with us. We aim to stay in touch with our alumni as well as help you get to know one another through a series of programmes and activities.
The DAAD Regional Office Tokyo organizes numerous events throughout the year, some online, some face-to-face, that target different audiences. Alumni are also welcome at most of these events.
We are keen at the DAAD to stay in touch with our former scholarship holders. The conclusion of a DAAD scholarship marks the beginning of an active, long-term cooperative partnership with us in the shape of a network of alumni associations around the world.
Our alumni programmes provide subsequent support to former DAAD scholarship holders by offering a number of funding opportunities within the global DAAD alumni network.
Former outgoing DAAD scholarship holders have the opportunity to join our Germany alumni network in order to stay in touch and raise new contacts. Register now!
