The branch office of the German Academic Exchange Service in Tokyo offers an array of information brochures published by DAAD in English, Japanese and German with information on living, studying and research in Germany as well as on funding opportunities. Whereas our publications can mostly be downloaded online, upon request, we also send brochures to you by postal mail.

To request brochures by postal mail, please send us a letter with the following information:

  • your name, address and telephone number
  • the title of the desired publication
  • enclose stamps worth 370 Yen
  • write “Brochure request”「パンフレット請求」on the envelope and state your name and address on the backside
  • please send your inquiry by postal mail to: 107-0052 Tokyo, Minato Akasaka 7-5-56, DAAD Tokyo (tel: 03-3582-5962, fax: 03-3582-555)

The desired publications will be send to you as a Letter Pack light (in case publications exceed 4kg or the size of the Letter Pack please look for information about the mailing conditions by yourself)
